Juggling Amongst the Cows

The Madison chapter of the College is in need of a Master of Ceremonies to organize us, a ringleader to bring us together. There are poi and fire swingers, yo-yo artists, jugglers and unicyclists and manipulators of objects, but without a place to gather.

Sort of.

The Madison Area Jugglers is a fantastic group of jugglers that meets twice a week with great reliability, and has a number of members who also swing poi, unicycle, and practice other acts of skill and fancy.

There's also usually a student group on the UW campus which meets once a week during the school year, which could be called a branch of the Madison Area Jugglers, or could be called a chapter of the College for the Easily Amused, but is usually just called the other student juggling group.

And finally (as far as I know), there's the Oregon Juggling Club in Oregon, WI, just south of Madison.

So for practical purposes, there are plenty of opportunities for interested individuals to meet and play together.

But it would still be really cool to reform an official chapter in Madison, get some new pictures and blogs up on this site, make use of the mailing list, and have some fun. If you're interested in helping make that happen, contact DavidBlumenthal.

Are there really cows?

Usually, no. But right now there's an art installation throughout downtown Madison of decorated bovinity, so yes, we're juggling amongst the cows.
